Despacito the song of Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi along with Daddy Yankee was released in 2017. It was the top one streamed music at that moment within just six months. The song is a mix of pop music and Reggaeton came out in 2017 by the Puerto Rican musician Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee. The track has become the most streamed track at that period within a span of six months. The Billboard Top 100 featured two songs in Spanish mostly, and four in 2016. The Despacito song was at its peak popularity in 2017 however 19 predominantly Spanish tracks made the Top 100, and in 2020 there were 41 of them. Justin Bieber re-mixed Despacito with an English version in the year 2017. In the year following, the most well-known artists began collaborating with reggaeton acts. Drake teamed with Bad Bunny to create MIA (2018) and Madonna collaborated on Medellin together with Maluma (2019). In 2020, several Reggaeton artists were complaining about the trend of the genre towards the mainstream. However, a younger generation like Rauw Alejandro was determined to keep the trend going. Rauw Alejandro incorporated electronic dance forms and other genres into his songs.
