Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny, born February 3, 1950) is an American actress. Through the 80s, she became a household name for her appearances on various TV series. She was known as a glamorous character. Fairchild was first noticed in the CBS daytime soap opera Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace from 1973 to 1977. She starred in 1978 on the premiertime soap opera Dallas in the role of being the very first actor to portray Jenna Wade before taking a part in the lead role of the NBC show Flamingo Road in 1980 (for which she received an Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Television Series Drama). She co-starred with ABC in the short-lived soap Paper Dolls in 1984. In addition, she played Jordan Roberts in Falcon Crest from 1985 until 1986. Fairchild was also seen in the theatre, as well as in guest roles on television shows such as Murphy Brown and Roseanne Cybill. Fairchild was also considered for the Primetime Emmy Award in 1985 for her role in this series. She serves on the board of SAG-AFTRA.
